- Prospect and onboard new customer accounts, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing revenue potential.
- Educate and ensure compliance on convenience and foodservice promotions, programs, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
- Conduct sales presentations, showcasing sample convenience and foodservice products, and new product promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Execute on sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers to meet their unique needs.
- Perform routine inspections of customers' product sections and displays, updating shelf tags to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Establish a personal relationship with customers to better understand their needs and requirements, driving loyalty and retention.
- Review weekly/monthly reports with the store manager, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on any issues.
- Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, ensuring competitive pricing and maximizing revenue potential.
- Communicate changes in product line or marketplace to the company, ensuring alignment with customer needs and expectations.
- Assist with processing merchandise returns, ensuring seamless customer service and minimizing losses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the sales team and the company as a whole.Requirements:
- Proven success in closing sales for a variety of product lines, with a strong track record of driving growth and profitability.
- Detail-minded and organized, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Proven and successful sales ledger travel and effective time management experience, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to conduct professional, results-driven customer presentations.
- Solutions-minded, with the ability to analyze and critically evaluate situations, driving innovative solutions and growth opportunities.
- Ability to learn computer programs, systems, and new technology solutions as they relate to the position, with a strong willingness to adapt and evolve.
