About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at INK Entertainment Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of our menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Assist in the planning and preparation of menu items, including food costs, inventory management, and quality control.
    • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Requisition food and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular taste tests and quality control checks.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
