We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our Regina branch and lead our Secured Transport team within the Cash Services Division.

About the Role:

  • Reporting to the Regional VP of Operations, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work of your team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You will continuously review day-to-day operations to optimize resources, improve profitability, and customer service, implementing changes as necessary.
  • Oversee the development and monitor adherence to the branch budget, ensuring all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the management team, setting clear objectives, communicating openly, and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure staff maintain a high level of customer care and maintain a good relationship between management and the union.
  • Work with HR to apply corporate policies to manage disciplinary matters, including dismissals, grievances, absenteeism, and health and safety issues.
  • Conduct investigations to determine causes of transportation accidents and improve safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years' experience in management of unionized employees or equivalent.
  • Transportation/logistics services industry experience (cash, courier services, etc.).
  • Knowledge of best practices in health and safety in a unionized work environment.
  • Knowledge of WSBC reporting and claim management processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's licence with a good driving record.
  • Hold a valid restricted PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence), an asset.
  • Proven Operations experience in a senior management capacity.
  • Excellent union relationship management experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly customer-service and results-oriented.
  • Ability to manage the implementation of strategic objectives.
  • High degree of integrity, trustworthy.
