About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our 98-room Tru by Hilton Oshawa Ontario hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving guest satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance guest experience.
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of hotel staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Financial Management: Manage hotel budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Guest Experience: Foster a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers, promoting the hotel's brand and reputation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of hotel leadership experience in a Select service-level property.
  • Brand Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, or similar brands.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven financial management skills, including P&L review, budget creation, and cost controls.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of M3, ADP, and One Yield.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
