Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hospitality management company, is seeking an accomplished Executive Director of Hospitality Services for the Tru by Hilton Oshawa Ontario.

Your expertise drives us:

The Executive Director of Hospitality Services is the primary strategic business leader with responsibility for all aspects of hotel operations, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing brand service strategies and initiatives to meet or exceed guest expectations and increase profit and market share.
  • Leading the property leadership team in strategy execution and holding them accountable for results.
  • Guiding professional development of the property leadership team and all team members.
  • Leveraging sales engines to drive revenue growth.
  • Building owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations, and delivering solid business results.
  • Engaging with the local community to build strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers.

You are:

  • A highly experienced executive with 2+ years of hotel leadership experience in a Select service-level property.
  • Accomplished in leading teams in Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, or similar brands.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L review, budget creation, and cost controls, with ability to develop leaders in these skills.
  • Working knowledge of M3, ADP, and One Yield systems.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Display initiative, perseverance, and analytical skills.
  • Able to deliver exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.
  • A team player, professional, and leader with integrity.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, with excellent grammar and communication skills.
  • Engaged, authentic, and prepared to prospect, sell, and maintain accounts to positively impact revenues.
