About the Role

CWB is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Vice President Commercial to lead and achieve strategic business development objectives. This role will build and maintain a high-value portfolio of large, diversified commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to achieve targeted business growth mix, focusing on larger mid-market commercial clients.
  • Establish relationships with clients, identifying key issues and implementing strategies to expand partnerships.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of clients, market, competition, and economic factors.
  • Optimize business and client relationships, practicing good judgment and making win-win determinations.
  • Be a trusted partner, crafting personal credibility and increasing CWB brand awareness and presence with larger businesses and related professionals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or accounting (or equivalent experience).
  • Eight years of commercial banking experience with functions of mid-market commercial lending and adjudication.
  • Well-developed skills in financial statement analysis, structuring transactions, and knowledge of effective risk mitigation strategies for credit underwriting.
