Medical Device Reprocessing Technician

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
**Job Description:**
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient reprocessing of medical devices in our sterile department. This includes decontamination, sterilization, and packaging of equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Knowledge of sterile department procedures and protocols
- Successful completion of the Central Service Techniques Course
- CSA Certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in all areas of MDRD, including decontamination area, sterile area, portering and dispatch, and record maintenance
- Detail orientated with demonstrated aptitude for utmost accuracy; ability to adhere to strict procedures & protocols
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast, often time pressured and constantly changing environment
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment including providing proof of full COVID vaccination prior to being hired
