Medical Device Reprocessing Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MDRD Reprocessing Technician to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient reprocessing of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Knowledge of sterile department, reprocessing, and infection control procedures
- Successful completion of the Central Service Techniques Course
- CSA Certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in all areas of MDRD, including decontamination, sterile processing, and record maintenance
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated aptitude for utmost accuracy and adherence to strict procedures and protocols
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment including providing proof of full COVID vaccination prior to being hired
- Standing for long periods of time
- Moving and lifting
- Pushing and pulling
- Walking
- On an as-needed basis
