Job Summary:
Cerelia Bakery Canada LP is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of our SQF program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain the SQF system for our cookie manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with SQF Food Safety Code requirements.
- Integrate additional requirements from specific customer food safety programs into our SQF system.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address potential food safety hazards and non-conformances.
- Lead and participate in investigations of food safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Train and educate employees on SQF principles and procedures to foster a culture of food safety awareness.
- Stay up to date on the latest SQF requirements and best practices in food safety.
- Assist the QA Manager with SQF certification audits and address any findings.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and programs (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, and Health & Safety).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing with a focus on food safety.
- Completion of HACCP training course.
- Proven understanding of SQF Food Safety Code V9: Food Manufacturing and its implementation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting SQF Audits.
- Ability to write clear and concise SOPs and Policies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
