About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Spice Hut Canada Franchise Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to prepare and present dishes to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Cuisine Specialties: East Indian cuisine is a specialty of this role.
  • Government Programs: We are a recognized employer and offer a permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
