Meat Department Supervisor

Thrifty Foods, a Canadian company with over 1,600 stores across the country, is seeking a skilled Meat Department Supervisor to join their team in Sidney, British Columbia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service by coaching and developing friendly, well-trained staff. They will supervise the department, act as a point of contact in the absence of the Department Manager or Assistant, and foster customer loyalty.
A key requirement for this role is a minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar position, as well as a high school diploma. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have full knowledge of department operations and skills.
The Meat Department Supervisor will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement, and ensuring that all department tasks are completed efficiently.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $22-$28 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
