Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Onsemi. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all facilities systems, including HVAC, chillers, air handling systems, boilers, and other equipment.
  • Respond to facilities-related issues and concerns, including lighting, office moves, and bathroom plumbing issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure continuous uptime of the site.
  • Participate in the Health and Safety Committee for the site.
  • Provide on-call support every other weekend, alternating with other facility staff members to respond to pages and trouble calls as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups, such as engineering and project management, to install or repair building support systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all facilities systems and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or apprentice in HVAC or Building Maintenance.
  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot.
  • Customer-oriented with ability to build rapport and relationships.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work with deadlines.
