Facilities Maintenance Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing a safe and healthy environment for our members, volunteers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to all participants
  • Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned promptly and regularly
  • Clean all areas of the facility, including showers, washroom areas, floors, and hard surfaces
  • Refill dispensers, stock and maintain cleaning supplies as required
  • Wash, dry, and restock towels
  • Attend trainings and staff meetings as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to use various cleaning tools and equipment
  • Ability to take direction, work well with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team
  • Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment
