Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This is a permanent position, working 40 to 42 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Facilities Maintenance
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
    • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Handle and report lost and found items to maintain a secure and organized environment
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored in a secure and accessible location
    • Report any security or safety concerns to management immediately
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Travel expenses will be paid by the employer
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity
    • Work independently with minimal supervision
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Handle heavy loads and lift equipment with ease
    • Work in a physically demanding environment with a high level of physical activity
    • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
    • Work overtime as required to maintain a clean and safe environment
