Job Title: Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Canadian Systems Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing databases, operating database management systems to analyze data, and developing and implementing data administration policies, standards, and models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop databases to meet business requirements
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and provide insights
  • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models
  • Collect and document user requirements
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in database administration
  • Strong knowledge of database software, programming languages, and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
