Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Whistler Tacos La Cantina. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate food and supply costs, and maintain accurate records of inventory and sales.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, specialist chefs, and sous-chefs.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute special events and functions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior kitchen management role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
