Job Title: Business / Finance New Grad

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business / Finance New Grad to join our Distribution Lines Work Management team. As a Business / Finance New Grad, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of project contracts, preparing program / project variance reports, and providing support to Program / Project Managers in project administration duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical skills in SAP, BIBW, and Excel
  • Learn program / project management skills in planning, scheduling, control, and reporting
  • Gain experience with distribution work programs, including customer projects, grid modernization, large capital expansions, and maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with the greater distribution team, as well as asset planning, finance, external vendors, supply chain, and regulatory
  • Provide advice, guidance, recommendations, and assistance to supervisors and management
  • Report on historical performance and identify, evaluate, analyze, and explain variances between budget/forecast and actual expenditures
Requirements:
  • A university undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce, engineering, or a related field
  • Previous co-op/internship experience in a relevant field and industry is considered an asset
  • Previous project management experience is considered an asset
