Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our Plant Reliability Engineering team. As a Co-op Engineer, you will work closely with our Corporate Reliability Engineers, Plant Operation Manager, and Mechanic to develop and implement asset management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain asset hierarchy lists, document navigation accelerators, inventory lists, spare part lists, job plans, and preventive maintenance schedules for EAM implementation.
  • Support Maximo users in maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset information.
  • Create and review drawings and field labels to build a cross-reference with standardized asset names.
  • Document asset information that needs to be updated in the drawings.
  • Recommend efficient ways to sort, categorize, and standardize stock items.
  • Assist in registering and labeling stock items.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering program or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including analyzing spreadsheet information, using Pareto's, Bar Charts, Look Up Tables, Pivot Tables, and Drop Down Menus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Troubleshooting capability is a plus.
  • Self-starter and eager to learn and work.
