About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Spicy Fusion. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Team Leadership and Management

Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.

Inventory Management and Control

Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.

Cleanliness and Safety

Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe for staff and customers, and that all food safety and handling procedures are followed.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Certifications and Licenses

Food Safety Certificate.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.

Personal Qualities

Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude.

Working Conditions

40 hours per week, permanent position.
