Job Title: Housekeeping Ambassador

Join our team as a Housekeeping Ambassador at Fairmont Royal York, a luxurious hotel in the heart of Toronto. As a key member of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that our public spaces are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intuitive and engaging service to our guests, consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Clean and inspect all public spaces, cupboards, elevators, and stairwells to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Adhere to the hotel's grooming policy and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Utilize Royal Service Mobile according to standards and policies to ensure seamless communication with colleagues and guests.
  • Report necessary maintenance items frequently and communicate with leaders to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and colleagues.
  • Assist the Room Attendant with maintaining the cleanliness of all areas on the Gold floors, including closets, corridors, lounge, and public spaces.
  • Responsible for restocking all glassware, linens, and supplies as needed.
  • Deliver and remove guest requests and preferences in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Openly communicate with all Fairmont Gold colleagues to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in English language.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Visa Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
