Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce parking regulations on city streets, including expired parking permits, no parking zones, and tow-away zones.
  • Issue warnings and citations to violators, as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to ensure efficient and effective enforcement of parking regulations.
  • Collaborate with other enforcement officers and city officials to ensure consistency and accuracy in enforcement efforts.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in emergency response situations.
  • Physical ability to walk up to 30+ kilometers per day or drive for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to draft comprehensive reports and maintain proper records.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
