Parking Enforcement Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parking Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations, issuing warnings and/or violation notices, and providing exceptional customer service to the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce parking regulations by patrolling assigned sites, issuing warnings and/or violation notices, and redirecting parkers to appropriate parking areas.
  • Conduct vacant stall counts to monitor traffic volumes and identify opportunities to improve parking services.
  • Collect parking revenue from automated parking payment equipment.
  • Check and replenish change and paper stock in automated parking payment equipment and clean equipment solar panels as needed.
  • Report equipment failures to management.
  • Prepare and maintain required records, including logs of parking enforcement activities and records of contested citations.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 FULL driver's license and a clear driver's abstract.
  • Demonstrate a competency in English to the extent of reading and understanding written regulations, orders, and instructions, and able to compose legible reports.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in emergency response situations with minimal supervision.
  • Physically able to walk up to 30+ kilometers each day for foot patrols.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records.
  • Ability to handle private information with high discretion.
