At Lactalis Canada, we are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Time and Attendance Administrator in our Winchester facility.

Job Overview:

We offer a competitive base salary of $65,000 per annum, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of hourly employee data into the time and attendance system
  • Audit and test the time and attendance system to maintain data integrity
  • Process pay-related queries and resolve issues related to benefits, policies, and programs
  • Liaise with departments to clarify information and resolve discrepancies
  • Enter changes to employee records, validate HRIS and payroll system updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and ensure practices align with company standards
  • Provide administrative support, including managing union dues, document management, and onboarding new employees

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education, minimum college diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Experience with payroll administration in a high-volume non-union environment is an asset
  • Must be bilingual for specific sites
  • Familiarity with policies and procedures impacting time and attendance, benefits, and pay (OT/DT/Vacation/Sick)
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy with strict adherence to security policies and handling confidential information
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Self-starter able to work effectively in a team and independently, meet tight deadlines, and problem-solve
  • Ability to use HR systems and software, SAP HR application, Kronos time and attendance application, Microsoft Office products
