Sig Operator

Responsibilities Include:

- Follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner (LOTO, PPE, Guarding, etc.)
- Assemble/disassemble printers.
- Operate printers and solids line to meet or exceed established performance standards.
- Operate loma machines and monitor giveaway.
- Ensure full compliance to HACCP and PQMS.
- Work to reduce line rejects.
- Recover all butter before wash-up begins.
- Tracks rework losses.
- Conduct cleaning on SIG machines, as well as solids area, in compliance to PQMS, which requires the measurement of chemical concentrations, corrective action, and documentation of same.
- Communication of all relevant information for the next shift.
- Compliance with all safety requirements including use of personal protective equipment.
- May work in other material handler positions in the butter room as required.
- Coordinate break relief to maximize production.
- Operate a lift truck to palletize when required.
- Required to complete inventory, OEE sheets, and daily weight verification records as required.
- Operate the cardboard compactor
- Conduct Attendant and Entrant duties as needed.
- Other duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be minimum of 18 years of age;
- Completion of high school or equivalent;
- Must be able to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs;
- Mechanically inclined is considered an asset;
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time including bending, twisting and walking;
- Must be willing and able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical; and
- Able to work shift work (including nights and weekends)

Shift: 12hr shifts with overtime pay and shift premiums
(Saturday’s x1.5 and Sunday’s double time)
