Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at D & D Brothers Investment Group Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen setting
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
