Brynn Catering is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of food
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Supervise the ordering and inventory of food and kitchen supplies
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Plan and execute menus for special events and functions
  • Train and develop the skills of kitchen staff
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with food safety and handling procedures
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Cook Red Seal Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
