Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Insolvency Trustee to join our team. As a key member of our debt resolution team, you will be responsible for performing remote-based video and phone assessments, reviewing file quality, and ensuring exceptional client service. Your expertise will be essential in helping us achieve our ambitious goals and better serve the growing number of Canadians in need.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of consumer debtors seeking insolvency filingReview and sign Statements of Receipts and DisbursementsPerform initial meetings and chair creditor meetings as requiredSupport the local team in technical client challengesAccept new estate filings under your LIT license numberAttend regional Court as neededOther management duties as assigned
Requirements
Licence to act as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in Canada5+ years of experience in insolvency practicePrevious work experience in corporate or complex insolvency and restructuring is an assetPreference given to candidates based in BC or able to work Pacific Standard Time hoursCompletion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant fieldStrong work ethic, ability to learn new technologies, and excellent communication skills
