Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced software engineer with expertise in designing and developing scalable software products using open-source technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Presto, as well as AWS services such as EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, and DynamoDB.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and developing software products for measurement and reporting across all of Amazon's advertising suite
- Combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving skills to devise effective solutions
- Collaborating with engineers and executives to communicate complex ideas effectively
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
