Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine portion sizes and costs for menu items
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for successful realization
  • Procure food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
