Warehouse Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Uni-Select Inc. in Boucherville, QC.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate the shipping workflow and other warehouse operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
  • Assist in the training of new employees and ongoing training of existing employees to maintain quality and productivity standards.
  • Assign tasks and work orders to warehouse associates and maintain the daily shipping and receiving schedule.
  • Review open and closed sales orders, create and file sales orders, invoices/BOL's, productivity reports, packing lists, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues and work closely with the warehouse supervisor and associates.
  • Assist the operations department with fulfillment and quality control, and escalate issues to site leadership when necessary.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and Systems Applications to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, and promote a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with governmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a distribution environment.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), including RF Units, ERP (SAP), an asset.
  • Ability to adapt and lead in a constantly changing environment, and capacity to work under pressure to meet customer needs.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team, and strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts).
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution and/or automotive industry an asset.
