Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at 1722025 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our hotel, motel, and resort settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning processes.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.
