Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional cleaning services.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve our cleaning services and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or renovations.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and timely financial records are maintained for all cleaning-related expenses.
  • Receive Payments: Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the resources and tools required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning services are integrated into our overall operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the cleaning team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Site Environment: Wet/damp, dusty
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability
