Job Title: Engineering Designer, C.Tech or C.E.T.

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Partner/ Senior Project Manager/ Project Manager/ Project Engineer

Hours of Work: Standard hours of work (Occasional overtime as required)

Membership: Member in good standing with OACETT

Education:

  1. A post-secondary education in the field of civil engineering or architectural design from a recognized Community College level or higher.
  2. Post-secondary education may be substituted for a minimum of 10 years of related work experience in the same field.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience using AutoCAD in a civil engineering environment or related discipline.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Civil Engineering Designer at The Jones Consulting Group Ltd., you will be responsible for creating and developing AutoCAD drawings using Civil 3D software required for subdivision designs, site plans, plot plans, storm water management facilities, master servicing reports, and functional servicing reports. You will also be responsible for providing updates to management staff as to current project status as required.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
