Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

Starboard Recruitment is partnering with a top-tier AI, Series-B tech startup to find a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist in Vancouver.

The ideal candidate will design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS services, with a focus on infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable tools.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes for infrastructure.
  • Work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Implement and enforce security and compliance best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and assist with incident management.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure.
  • Strong expertise with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or other related languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, cloud architecture, and security principles.
