About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Creative to join our team at Mediaplanet. As a key member of our digital production team, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of digital assets and campaigns that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Design and produce high-quality digital assets, including web banners, social media graphics, and display ads.
  • Collaborate with our production team to manage and execute online content, including the creation of additional webpage elements.
  • Stay up-to-date with current web standards, principles, and best practices related to digital marketing and social media.
  • Develop integrated content across all marketing channels, including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, and print.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain our social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging content.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of digital content, adhering to our brand standards.
  • Attend meetings with our sales and production teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Requirements
  • A portfolio showcasing your digital design and production skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and standard UX web practices.
  • Experience with social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Content Management Software (CMS) – WordPress.
  • Creative vision and ability to tell compelling stories.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in digital production or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Press Stylebook.
  • Experience building a social media following for a brand or business.
  • Knowledge in translating long-form content to short-form.
  • Knowledge of branding foundations and design skills.
  • Experience using Mailchimp.
  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
