We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level Artist to join our dynamic team. As a Level Artist, you'll have the opportunity to bring AAA title games to life with your exceptional artistic talent and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold the values of The Art Team, supporting a creative, positive, and inclusive culture for the studio and Level Art Team.
- Produce high-quality artwork and maintain a strong understanding of current level art creation workflows and future industry trends.
- Work closely with Art Leads and other members of the Level Art team to support the artistic vision and maintain visual quality, consistency, and level performance.
- Partner with the Level Design Team to solve art/design challenges and ensure levels are both playable and performant.
- Communicate effectively with the Environment Art Team, providing detailed breakout sheets and environment set requirements.
Requirements:
- A portfolio with examples of high-quality environment and level artwork.
- 3+ years of environment/level art experience with at least one shipped title.
- Self-motivated and directed, with strong time management skills that enable you to work well with deadlines.
- A strong visual and technical understanding of level creation methods using Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
- Strong working knowledge of Maya (preferred) or similar 3D modeling software, Substance, Photoshop, and Z-brush, etc.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between CAD $130,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
