About the Job:
- We are seeking a skilled Level Artist to join our team and contribute to the creation of visually stunning and high-quality levels within the Gears of War franchise.
- As a Level Artist, you will partner with various teams to bring the artistic vision to life by producing high-quality level artwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the values of our Art Team and maintain a positive and inclusive culture.
- Produce high-quality level artwork and stay updated with current industry trends.
- Support the artistic vision and maintain visual quality, consistency, and level performance.
- Collaborate with the Level Design Team to solve art/design challenges and create playable and performant levels.
- Work closely with the Environment Art Team to communicate environment set requirements.
Requirements:
- Portfolio showcasing high-quality environment and level artwork.
- 3+ years of experience in environment/level art, with at least one shipped title.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under deadlines.
- Proficiency in level creation methods using Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
- Strong working knowledge of Maya (preferred) or similar 3D modeling software, Substance, Photoshop, and Z-brush.
