Job Summary
We are hiring a Softgoods Sales Associate for our store. As a Softgoods Sales Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, accurately recording customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Accurately record customer transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery
- Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed
- Ensure the checkout work area is kept clean and organized
- Ensure Loss prevention best practices are followed
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.

- Stand and/or walk
- Bend, twist, and squat
- Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.)

- Operate equipment, including using a ladder
Keyholder Premium (If Applicable)
Opening and closing the store on an ad hoc basis, including running register reports, ensuring all areas are tidy, and ensuring all Associates have completed their end of shift tasks.
