About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team at AtwoZ Renos Inc. as a key member of our renovation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and mark surfaces for tile installation
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Instruct apprentices in tile installation techniques
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles for decorative designs
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects
Work Environment

The Marble Setter will work in a fast-paced renovation environment with varying locations. The job requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours of work per week
