At AtwoZ Renos Inc., we are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team. As a Marble Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with marble and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with marble and other materials.
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
  • Prepare rough plans and sketches for tile installations.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Instruct apprentices on tile installation techniques.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installations.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips to complete the installation.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination necessary.
  • Overtime required to meet project deadlines.
