Join the SSENSE team as a Freelance Studio Assistant and contribute to the success of our e-commerce photography operations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise and accessories throughout the photoshoot process.
Responsibilities:- Merchandise Management: Assist in receiving and returning products to and from the Distribution Center, transfer items, and log inventory movements in the Warehouse Management System.
- Inventory Control: Identify and track daily stock issues, maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the styling room, and assist the Stylists by requesting and picking matching products.
- Pre-Photoshoot Preparation: Carefully unpack clothes, shoes, and accessories, prepare clothing racks, and ensure all garments are prepped and photoshoot ready.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Set Coordinators and Producers to ensure photoshoot objectives are attained and support the department by performing various studio tasks as required.
- Experience: 1 year of coordination or retail experience.
- Language Skills: Written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of textiles and garment care, interest in fashion, styling, and e-commerce photography, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk 5 km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, and ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 30 lbs.
