Job Title: Freelance Studio Assistant

Join the SSENSE team as a Freelance Studio Assistant and contribute to the success of our fashion production operations. As a key member of our studio team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of photoshoots and the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Merchandise Management: Assist in receiving and returning products to and from the Distribution Center, transfer items, and log inventory movements in the Warehouse Management System.
  • Inventory Control: Identify and track daily stock issues, maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the styling room, and assist the Stylists by requesting and picking matching products.
  • Photoshoot Preparation: Carefully unpack clothes, shoes, and accessories, prepare clothing racks for the Stylists, and ensure all garments are prepped and photoshoot ready.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Set Coordinators and Producers to ensure photoshoot objectives are attained and support the department by performing various studio tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1 year of coordination or retail experience.
  • Language Skills: Written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of textiles and garment care, interest in fashion, styling, and e-commerce photography.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, knowledge of WMS systems an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk 5 km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 30 lbs.
