Rubber Materials Technician

At Brant Corrosion Control, we are seeking a skilled Rubber Materials Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our rubber products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill out product inspection reports to ensure quality standards are met
  • Check and monitor product quality to identify any defects or issues
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers to maintain a high level of quality and productivity
  • Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly, ensuring accurate and efficient production
  • Operate machines or equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products
  • Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards
  • Make minor adjustments or repairs to products as needed
  • Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings to ensure accurate production
Work Environment:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions
  • Stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
  • Work in a noisy, dusty, and hot environment
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, written specifications and production drawings
