About the Role

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Operations team at Minto Group by providing financial analysis and insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain financial models and tools to analyze and forecast performance.
  2. Prepare and present financial reports and variance analysis to senior management.
  3. Design and implement analytical models to evaluate and optimize property and portfolio performance.
  4. Report on business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Collaborate with senior management to understand their reporting and analysis needs.
  6. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and models.
  7. Assist in the completion and maintenance of development pro-forma cash flow models.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor of Commerce degree with a related Accounting discipline.
  2. Accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) is an asset.
  3. Minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance.
  4. Knowledge of SAP/Yardi system is an asset.
  5. Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a real estate environment.
  6. Experience presenting to senior executives.
  7. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook.
  8. Intermediate/Advanced Excel.
  9. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
