Retail Store Manager

Huron Mini Mart is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet the company's standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and ensure that it is properly stored and displayed in the store.
- Authorize returns of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and processed.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and present them to management.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that all stock is properly stored and displayed.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff members and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with staff members and customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
