About the Role

As a Fitness and Sports Instructor with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), you will have the opportunity to lead Fitness, Sports, and Aquatics programs for a highly motivated and professional clientele. Your daily responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and assessing Tactical programs based on established employment standards to ensure the members of the Canadian Armed Forces can safely and effectively perform their duties in operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver Fitness, Sports, and Aquatics programs for Canadian Armed Forces members
  • Assess and evaluate physical fitness and provide guidance on improvement
  • Support and work alongside Canadian Armed Forces members to prepare them for operations
  • Collaborate with a dynamic and dedicated team to deliver programs and services
  • Embed cutting-edge scientific research and state-of-the-art technology into programs
Qualifications and Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences, or a related field
  • Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
  • Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate
  • Experience in preparing and conducting physical fitness training sessions, instructing health and physical fitness training modules, and applying policies and procedures
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
Language Requirements

English is the primary language of communication for this role.
