About the Role:

As a Hearing Care Professional, you'll empower people to rediscover the emotions of sound. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing tests and interpreting results to select suitable hearing aid solutions
  • Counseling clients on the latest hearing aid technology and identifying solutions that address their hearing needs and lifestyle
  • Building relationships with clients through personalized care and support
  • Staying current on industry trends and providing ongoing hearing health education
  • Fostering hearing healthcare awareness through community outreach and partnerships
  • Contributing clinical expertise to corporate initiatives and projects

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Audiology or a diploma from a recognized Hearing Instrument Specialist program
  • Registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body
  • Current knowledge of hearing aid technology and devices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build professional rapport with clients and colleagues

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Ability to operate audiological equipment and execute the fitting and molding of hearing aid devices
  • Ability to move equipment up to 20 pounds
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
