Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to lead our purchasing efforts for raw materials, general tools, equipment, safety materials, plant hardware, and other purchases. This role reports directly to the VP of Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, tools, equipment, safety materials, and plant hardware, ensuring alignment with production needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including hardware and operational supplies, to ensure timely replenishment and prevent production disruptions.
  • Analyze material costs and implement cost management strategies to optimize procurement expenditures.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to define material specifications, quality requirements, and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about trends in pricing, availability, and emerging suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
