About Phase Consulting:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee the implementation of a large-scale complex transit project. As a bilingual professional fluent in both French and English, you will be responsible for coordinating site progress, tracking schedules, and addressing issues related to RQTs, registers, and site concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Site Progress Coordination: Oversee site monitoring, track schedules, and address issues related to RQTs, registers, and site concerns.
- Collaboration with Contract Administrator: Work with the Contract Administrator to issue NCRs, notices, letters, directives, etc.
- Construction Site Monitoring: Manage construction site monitoring, supervise dedicated site supervisors, and other specialized roles as needed.
- Related Services Planning: Plan services such as laboratory and surveying for the site, monitor site reports, and oversee works carried out under direct management.
- Contract Management Shared Responsibility: Ensure shared management responsibility for contract administration.
Skill Set:
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction and site monitoring.
- Ability to maintain a full-time on-site presence.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with various construction methods.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of combined experience in procurement, administration, and construction project management.
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to subcontracting and procurement in Quebec and Ontario.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment.
- Proficiency in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
