Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Sarnia, ON. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in various tasks and ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Establish and maintain high standards of Guest Services, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Staff Development: Support the development of store staff, providing guidance and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Expense Control: Monitor and control expenses, including shrinkage, to maximize profitability.
- Merchandising and Inventory: Develop and implement effective merchandising and inventory control strategies to drive sales and reduce waste.
Requirements:
- Candidate Profile: Prior retail and management experience required; minimum age requirement 18 years old.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
